Description
This Barolo by Roberto Voerzio originates from a selection of Nebbiolo grapes from four cru vineyards in the municipality of La Morra: Fossati, La Serra, Case Nere and Boiolo.
Everything starts with the manual harvest of the grapes. Fermentation lasts from 10-30 days and takes place spontaneously, without the addition of selected yeasts. After the malolactic fermentation, the wine is transferred to wood where it ages for at least 18 months.
It is colored in an intense garnet red in the glass. It offers various olfactory sensations: cherry, rose petals, berries in jam and sweet spices. On the gustatory examination it lines the palate with its rich and concentrated structure, of great elegance.
The favorite combination is with red meats, game or aged cheeses.
