Description
Giulio Cocchi's Barolo Chinato is produced in the province of Asti, starting from Barolo DOCG wine flavored with china calisaia, rhubarb, gentian and cardamom, which transfer the aromatic properties to the product following a slow maceration conducted at room temperature.
Brown red in color, it opens to the nose with a rich and deep bouquet, with aromas of orange and cherry, followed by fresh notes of rhubarb and other spices, in perfect harmony. On the palate it is fresh and balanced, with a pleasant aromatic persistence.
Elegant after a meal, this Barolo Chinato goes very well with chocolate.
