Description

Borgogno's Barolo Chinato is sourced from the area where Barolo wine originates, in the province of Cuneo.

It is produced using the prestigious Barolo as a base wine, to which alcohol and a characteristic infusion based on natural products are added, including roots, leaves, flowers, seeds, spices, but above all aromatic herbs including china, in the three varieties calissaja, succumb and succirubra.

Borgogno's Barolo Chinato is characterized by a red colour between amber and garnet. The nose opens with a characteristic perfume reminiscent of tanning. On the palate it is warm and round, with a pleasant bitter-sweet persistence.

Perfect to accompany dry sweets and chocolate-based pastries, this flavoured wine is ideal in combination with pure chocolate.
