Description
Barolo Cerequio was born in the homonymous sub-area of Cerequio, in the municipality of La Morra and comes to life from vineyards over 20 years old, facing south-east, from which they draw the heat necessary to ripen to perfection. The soil is calcareous, marly and this gives the wine an excellent minerality and gives it character. After the harvest, the grapes ferment at a controlled temperature for 20 days and, subsequently, the wine ages for at least 24 months in fine wood.
The sight is immediately enchanted by a garnet red color with orange reflections, while the scent of fruity notes such as cherry inebriates the nose, already enchanted by balsamic hints with hints of vanilla and licorice.
It is the ideal wine to pair with pasta with meat sauce, as well as with game. Try it with a platter of cured meats.
