Description

Poderi Oddero belongs to the small circle of producers who have contributed in a fundamental way to making the history of the great wines of the Langhe. A long family tradition, which continues today with a range of labels capable of expressing absolute excellence. The Brunate area has always been considered the expression of the maximum elegance of La Morra. Oddero owns in this cru an old vineyard of about 60 years of age, located at an altitude of 300 meters with south-east exposure.

The grapes are carefully selected by hand before proceeding to fermentation at a controlled temperature, with maceration for about 25 days. Before bottling, the Barolo rests for at least 30 months in French oak barrels of 20 hectoliters.

Ruby in color with garnet reflections, it has a floral bouquet that smells of dried flowers, violet, hints of licorice root, undergrowth and red fruits. The taste is very harmonious, with a fine tannic texture, delicate and complex aromas.

To be combined with roast meats and small game.
