Description

Barolo Brunate is a red wine from the Marcarini company and therefore made exclusively with Nebbiolo grapes from Brunate, one of the most coveted crus of the Langhe.

Once the must is obtained from Nebbiolo grapes, it ferments on the skins at a controlled temperature for at least 4 weeks. The wine is then aged for 2 years in steel and then 24 months in large 20-40 hl Slavonian oak barrels, before being bottled without being filtered and remaining in the bottle for 12 months.

In the glass the wine appears of a light ruby color with garnet reflections. The olfactory profile is broad and is outlined on hints of red and dark fruits, sweet spicy notes and tobacco. In the mouth the sip is warm, with silky tannins and a long persistence.

Ideal in combination with important dishes of red meats and game, both roasted and stewed.
