Description

The Barco Reale di Carmignano di Capezzana is born in the vineyards located in the Municipality of Carmignano, in the province of Prato.

It is mainly produced with Sangiovese grapes and with Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Canaiolo grapes, harvested between the end of September and the beginning of October. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine refines in the bottle for about 3 months before being placed on the market.

This Barco Reale di Carmignano is characterized by an intense ruby red color with purplish red tones. The wine has a sweet and ample bouquet, enriched by intense fruity scents and pleasant oak notes. On the palate it is pleasantly soft and voluminous, with sweet medium-density tannins. The wine has a great balance of acidity, with a persistent sweet fruity aftertaste.

Perfect to accompany first courses, it is ideal in combination with red and white meats.
