Description
Villa Lanata's Barbera d'Asti Superiore is a red wine produced in the provinces of Asti and Alessandria.
Barbera grapes are harvested manually in September. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks in contact with the skins for 10-15 days. The refinement involves at least 6 months in wood and 3 months in steel, giving the wine a complex and well-balanced structure.
The color is an intense red tending towards garnet with aging. On the nose, it offers an intense, ethereal and persistent aroma with spicy notes. On the palate, it is full-bodied and intense, with harmonious and balanced tannins.
This wine pairs perfectly with game, roasts and cheeses.
