Description

La Ribelle is an authentic expression of Barbera d'Asti from Montalbera, hailing from the renowned hills of Castagnole Monferrato and Montemagno, in the heart of Piedmont. The vines are trained using the low Guyot system, ensuring a careful selection of buds to obtain high-quality grapes. This wine is the result of a winemaking tradition that enhances the territory and the uniqueness of the grape variety.

The vinification follows the traditional red method, respecting the typical characteristics of Barbera. Aging takes place in steel tanks, a process that preserves the freshness of the fruit and enhances its balance. This maturation allows the wine to develop a harmonious structure and good longevity, maintaining the vibrancy and intensity of the aromas.

Visually, it presents an intense purple-red color, enriched by violet reflections in its early years. On the nose, it releases an intense and persistent bouquet, with characteristic notes of blueberry and sour cherry in jam. On the palate, it offers good acidity, typical of the grape variety, accompanied by a full and harmonious body. The taste is balanced and powerful, with a long aromatic persistence that recalls the fruity notes perceived on the nose.

It pairs perfectly with dishes from the Piedmontese tradition, such as agnolotti with ragù or Barbera braised beef.
