Description

Barbera d'Alba Trevigne by Domenico Clerico comes from three different plots located in Monforte d'Alba, with exposures west, north-east and south. These vineyards give the wine a perfect balance between softness and freshness, enhancing the typical characteristics of Barbera, considered the queen of the Langhe.

The vinification involves a careful harvest at the perfect maturity of the grapes, followed by a maceration that extracts all the aromatic richness and potential of the grapes, keeping their natural freshness intact. The aging takes place in French oak, adding roundness and completing the structure of the wine.

On the nose, intense aromas of ripe red fruit are perceived, accompanied by a light spicy note. On the palate, it is harmonious and balanced, with good freshness and a pleasant softness that persists in the finish.

Ideal to pair with pasta dishes with rich sauces, roasts or semi-mature cheeses.
