Description

Barbera d'Alba Sovrana is produced by the Batasiolo company, owned by the Dogliani family, which has been producing wine in the Langhe for over 4 decades.

The wine is made up of 100% Barbera grapes, which are destemmed and fermented for 10-12 days in steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The wine ages partly in French oak barriques, partly in Slavonian oak barrels, to finish it off in stainless steel tanks.

Ruby red in color with purple reflections, it expresses aromas of red fruits, cherries in alcohol and spicy notes on the nose. The sip is fresh and intense, with excellent persistence.

Ideal in combination with cold cuts appetizers, first courses and grilled red meat.
