Description
The Barbera d'Alba Sori' del Drago is born from vineyards located at an altitude between 220 and 350 meters, carefully cultivated by one of the most prestigious wineries in the Cru of Barolo, Brovia. The grapes, hand-selected, best express the identity of the territory and the wine-growing tradition of Piedmont, resulting in a wine of great freshness and intensity.
Vinification occurs with controlled temperature fermentation, followed by aging in steel for a period of 15-18 months. This process preserves the aromatic integrity of the wine, enhancing its purity and liveliness. The wine is not filtered before bottling, ensuring a greater expression of fruit and terroir.
Of intense ruby red color, the olfactory profile is characterized by fresh and fruity notes, with hints of cherry, blackberry, and light floral nuances. On the palate, it stands out for its vibrant acidity and agility, with a soft tannin and notable persistence. The balance between freshness and intensity makes it particularly enjoyable and versatile.
It pairs perfectly with hot Piedmontese appetizers, savory first courses, ragù risotto, and white meats, enhancing the flavors with its lively freshness.
