Description
Paolo Conterno's Barbera d'Alba La Ginestra was born in vineyards located in the municipality of Monforte d'Alba, in the province of Cuneo.
It is produced entirely with Barbera grapes, harvested by hand. The fermentation is characterized by the use of particular tanks which make the extraction of color by maceration optimal. Subsequently, the wine ages for a few months in oak barrels.
Paolo Conterno's Barbera Ginestra has a deep ruby red colour. The nose opens with pleasant hints of cherry and blueberry, enriched with spicy notes. In the mouth it is fresh and structured, with a vibrant and refreshing acidity.
Perfect in combination with cured meats, hot appetizers and legume soups.
