Description
Bruno Rocca's Barbera d'Alba was born in the Langhe, in this cellar that has been cultivating vineyards in the Barbaresco area for over 50 years. The estate covers about fifteen hectares, with parcels in different areas of the appellation.
The wine is composed exclusively of Barbera grapes, which are vinified with fermentation for 10-15 days in thermo-controlled steel tanks. The wine is then aged for 12 months in French oak barriques.
Of an intense garnet red color, it is expressed on the nose with aromas of ripe fruit such as plum, blackberry, cherry, enriched with hints of pink pepper and toasted almond. The warm and harmonious sip, with excellent persistence.
To be combined with baked pasta, grilled meats and aged cheeses.
