Description
Borgo Castagni's Barbera d'Alba is produced from grapes from the hills surrounding the village of Alba.
It is made up of 100% Barbera grapes, which are pressed and destemmed, and then vinified using selected yeasts. The wine ages in the same containers for 6 months.
Ruby red in color, it reveals aromas of red fruits and flowers to the nose. The sip is warm and fresh, with good persistence.
It pairs well with pasta with rich sauces and red and white meats.
