Description

Guasti's Barbera d'Asti Superiore comes from vineyards located in the municipality of Nizza Monferrato, in Piedmont. This area is characterized by clayey soils, ideal for the cultivation of the Barbera vine.

Production follows traditional methods, with fermentation in steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Subsequently the wine matures for at least 12 months in oak barrels.

Wine with an intense ruby red color with garnet reflections that tend to accentuate with aging, it offers the nose a broad floral bouquet, enriched by notes of aging wood. On the palate the taste is dry and robust, with a notable structure.

It pairs perfectly with rich first courses, game, roasts and mature cheeses.
