Description
Barbera d'Asti Montebruna by Braida comes from vineyards located in the municipality of Rocchetta Tanaro, in Piedmont.
It is produced exclusively from Barbera grapes, harvested and selected exclusively by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature for about 2 weeks. Subsequently the wine ages for 12 months in large oak barrels before being bottled.
Violet ruby red in color, Braida's Babera d'Asti Montebruna opens to the nose with fruity notes of ripe cherry and small red fruits. On the palate it is full and harmonious with a pleasantly persistent almond finish.
Ideal in combination with first courses, second courses with red or white meat and aged cheeses, this Barbera is also excellent to accompany starters based on sausages.
