Description

Barbera d'Asti Libera by Bava originates from the young vineyards located at the top of the Pianoalto hill.

Fruit of only Barbera grapes, which ferment in steel tanks under controlled temperature conditions. Ageing takes place exclusively in the bottle.

It is characterized by a ruby red colour of beautiful intensity. The nose is enveloping and fruity, with notes of wild plum and cherry jam, later reached by elegant hints of pepper. On the palate, it is dry and soft, with continuous references to red fruit.

It goes ideally with a first course of cannelloni with meat sauce or a stew.

The wind vane flag on the label depicts the one on the roof of the Cascina di Pianoalto.
