Description

This Barbera comes from the vineyards of the Piedmontese company Cordero di Montezemolo, located in the province of Cuneo.

Obtained exclusively from Barbera grapes, harvested from different vineyards and carefully selected, the wine follows the classic red winemaking processes, also carrying out malolactic fermentation in wood. The product is then placed in French and Slavonian oak barrels for about 8 months. It is then marketed after a short aging in glass.

It has a very concentrated color, with purple textures. The nose bears fruity aromas of blackberry and plum, which go well with spicy sensations of cocoa and other sweet spices. It is full in the mouth and with a good freshness, supported by very smooth tannins.

Perfect with many typical Piedmontese dishes such as mixed boiled meat, hot salami with sauces and thistle pie.
