Description

The Barbera d'Alba Battaglione is a tribute to the ancient Piedmontese winemaking tradition linked to the Barbera vine.

The harvest takes place between the end of September and the beginning of October. Fermentation takes place in steel at a controlled temperature of 28-30 ° C, accompanied by a maceration of 7-10 days. The wine ages for a few months in cask before being bottled.

Very intense ruby red color, it offers an intense bouquet of ripe and dried plum on the nose on a spicy background. The sip is consistent but at the same time delicate and extends over a long persistence.

Wine suitable for local rustic cuisine, it is enhanced in the company of refined meat dishes and aged cheeses.
