Description
Born after the Second World War, on the initiative of small landowners in the area, it represents an essential qualitative reference point, with a series of high-end labels dedicated to the most prestigious areas of the denomination. Rabajà is one of the historic crus of Barbaresco, always among the most highly rated. The calcareous-clayey marl rich in sand, the altitude, the cool and sunny climate, guarantee ripe grapes with intense aromas.
At the end of the harvest, the best bunches are sent for fermentation in steel tanks with maceration on the skins for about a month. The wine rests for 30 months in oak barrels and refines for about a year in the bottle.
Elegant and complex, it is characterized by a ruby red color and intense aromas of cherry and small red fruits, with delicate hints of medicinal herbs, liquorice and spices. The sip is smooth and clear, an intense and spicy fruit with balanced and persistent tannins and an enveloping body.
To pair with pastas and risottos, meat and game.
