Description
Barbaresco Tulin is produced by the Pelissero winery, which for generations has been producing wine in Treiso, a small village in the Barbaresco area. The family manages 42 hectares of vineyards with native grapes such as Dolcetto, Nebbiolo and Barbera.
Once harvested, the grapes are vinified in steel tanks, to then be aged for about 24 hours in oak barrels, followed by 9 months in the bottle.
Ruby red in colour, the nose is dominated by hints of red fruit, in addition to mineral and spicy notes. The sip is structured, ample, with fine tannins and a long finish.
It goes excellently with important risottos, red meats and aged cheeses.
