Description
The Barbaresco di Sordo is born in vineyards located in the municipalities of Barbaresco, Neive and Treiso, in the province of Cuneo.
It is produced exclusively with Nebbiolo grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand once it is fully ripe. Fermentation takes place, with maceration, in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature for about 3 weeks. Subsequently the wine ages in Slavonian oak barrels and in bottles, before being placed on the market.
This Barbaresco has a garnet red color, with orange reflections that are accentuated with the passing of the years. The nose opens with ethereal and delicate aromas of undergrowth, spices and violet. On the palate it is dry and harmonious, full and complex, with a pleasantly bitter and persistent finish.
Excellent with roasts, this red wine is perfect to accompany all game dishes.
