Description

The Noce Grande from Cascina Chicco is a wine of great expression and character, produced exclusively with Nebbiolo grapes selected in the heart of the Barbaresco denomination.

The manual harvest guarantees the high quality of the grapes, which are then vinified in steel with a 15-day maceration on the skins to enhance the tannins and structure. The wine subsequently matures in oak barrels for 24 months, followed by a further 6 months of refinement in the bottle, perfecting its elegance and aromatic depth.

It has a bright ruby red color. On the nose, intense notes of morello cherry and violet stand out, which prelude an intense and structured taste, soft and balanced.

This Barbaresco is ideal in combination with stewed meats, red meats and game-based preparations.
