Description

The Barbaresco La Casa in Collina by Vite Colte hails from vineyards with low production per hectare, which allow to obtain important quality levels.

It is produced entirely from Nebbiolo grapes, harvested and selected only by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28-30 °C for 20 days. After the malolactic fermentation, carried out in large oak barrels, the wine continues to mature in the same containers for more than 12 months and ages for another 12 months in the bottle before being placed on the market.

It is characterized by a ruby red colour with garnet reflections. The nose opens with an intense bouquet of violets, enriched with hints of currant, strawberry and vanilla. On the palate it is full and velvety, delicately tannic and pleasantly persistent.

It is perfect to combine with savoury risottos, for example with mushrooms or radicchio. It is ideal to serve with baked chicken and stewed meat.
