Description
Now a legendary name in the Langhe wine scene, Bruno Giacosa has contributed significantly to the success at national and international level of Barolo and Barbaresco. Barbaresco comes from the precious Santo Stefano vineyard, located in the famous Albesani di Neive cru.
At the end of the harvest, the grapes ferment in stainless steel vats with a long maceration on the skins for over 30 days. As is customary in the area, the wine ages for more than 30 months in large Slavonian oak barrels.
It is a wine of extraordinary charm, characterized by a ruby color and aromas of violet, red currant, raspberry, medicinal herbs and licorice root. Aromatically multifaceted, delicate and persistent, it has a harmonious sip and a fresh finish.
To be combined with first courses with meat sauce, noble poultry and small game.
