Description
Königschaffhauser Vulkanfelsen Grauer Burgunder is a dry white wine from the Baden wine region in Germany. Produced by the Königschaffhausen wine cooperative, this wine expresses the freshness and liveliness typical of the volcanic soils of the Kaiserstuhl. Made exclusively from Grauburgunder grapes, it stands out for its fruity profile and subtle toasted notes.
Pinot Grigio grapes are grown in vineyards located on volcanic soils, which give the wine its particular minerality. The vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures, to keep the fresh and fruity aromas intact.
In the glass it has a bright straw yellow color. On the nose, aromas of ripe fruit such as pear and apple emerge, accompanied by delicate notes of hazelnut. On the palate it is voluminous and well structured, with a pleasant acidity that balances the softness, with a long and enveloping finish.
It pairs perfectly with grilled fish dishes or white meats.
