Description

Trousseau Amphore red wine is produced by Domaine André et Mireille Tissot, located in Montigny Les Arsures, in the Jura region. The winery was founded in 1962 by André and Mireille and is now managed by their son Stéphane Tissot and his wife Bénédicte, who cultivate the 35 hectares of vineyards following the principles of biodynamic agriculture. All the wines of the Domaine have a low dose of added sulphites, compared to the average of most wines.

It consists exclusively of Trousseau grapes, which are destemmed by hand. The vinification takes place in 420l amphorae and the maceration on the skins lasts 3 months. The wine ages for 9 months in the same containers.

Ruby red in color, it expresses aromas of ripe red fruit and spice notes on the nose. The sip is dry and full-bodied, with a persistent finish.

It goes well with both red meats and noble roast poultry.
