Description
The package contains 2 prestigious wines from Corte Giara.
Amarone della Valpolicella is obtained from Corvina Veronese and Rondinella grapes. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 8-22°C for a duration of approximately 22-24 days. Subsequently the wine ages for 5 months in the same containers, in wood for 15 months and in the bottle for the following 6 months.
It stands out for its intense ruby red color. The nose opens with pleasant aromas of red fruits, enriched with spicy notes of pepper, cloves and tobacco. On the palate it is full and enveloping, with a balanced acidity and pleasantly soft tannins.
Perfect to accompany dishes based on red meats, braised meats and game, this wine is ideal in combination with mature cheeses or as a meditation wine.
The Valpolicella Ripasso La Groletta di Corte Giara is obtained from Colline Veronese and Rondinella grapes. Fermentation takes place, with maceration, in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages for 4 months in steel, 11 months in Slavonian oak barrels and for 2 months in the bottle.
Ruby red in colour, this Valpolicella opens on the nose with a complex bouquet of red fruits, enriched with notes of sweet spices and medicinal herbs. On the palate it is full-bodied and has a good structure, good acidity, soft and enveloping.
Perfect to accompany refined red meat dishes such as stews, crusted fillet and quail, Valpolicella Ripasso Corte Giara is suitable for accompanying sliced beef with porcini mushrooms, lamb ribs and medium-aged cheeses.
