Description
Casa Lupo's Amarone della Valpolicella Riserva comes from vineyards located at an altitude of 450 meters above sea level
It is produced from Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella grapes which are left to dry in the loft for 4-5 months. The vinification takes place in steel vats, to then conclude the fermentation in 500-1000 l oak barrels. Here it also remains for the refinement, which lasts 30-35 months.
It is characterized by an intense garnet red colour. The nose reveals aromas of ripe red fruit, berries and blueberry and black cherry jam, as well as spicy hints of vanilla. The sip is warm and powerful, with a long persistence.
Perfect with traditional meat dishes such as braised meats, beef and game stews and aged cheeses.
