Description
The Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Rhetico di Bolla comes to light from vineyards located on the hills of the Negrar valley, alternating with dry stone walls called "marogne" which give life to the terraces typical of the classic Valpolicella area.
It is obtained from Corvina Veronese and Rondinella grapes, harvested by hand with careful selection of the bunches and subjected to a drying in the fruit cellar of about 10 days which allows you to extract more sugar, polyphenols and aromatic compounds from the grapes. Fermentation and long maturation in oak barrels of 36 months and partly in French oak barriques for 18 months follows, which gives the product an extraordinary elegance and softness. The wine stays for another 2 months in the bottle before being released on the market.
It appears at the sight of an intense ruby red color, with a garnet nail. The olfactory profile is defined by warm and intense notes of ripe red fruit, accompanied by hints of vanilla and chocolate. In the mouth it expresses a nice volume and a velvety body, with a soft finish on notes of plum and coffee.
Excellent in combination with grilled meats and game, it is particularly suitable with well-aged hard cheeses.
This wine is a tribute to Reitia, goddess of fertility, abundance and prosperity.
