Description

The Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Costasera from Cantina Masi is born in the vineyards overlooking Lake Garda, in the Valpolicella Classica area.

It is produced from Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara grapes, all harvested and selected manually. This Amarone represents, for the Masi Winery, the reference point of this category of wines, which together with Barolo and Brunello symbolizes the aristocracy of Italian reds. Costasera is the result of the experience of the Masi in the drying technique. The grapes used, once harvested, rest on bamboo racks during the winter thus concentrating the aromas.

Amarone Classico Costasera is characterized by an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with an intense bouquet of cooked fruit, plums and cherries. On the palate it is fruity, enriched by aromas of coffee and cocoa. This is a refined, balanced and pleasantly elegant wine.

Perfect to accompany red meats and game, it is ideal in combination with aged cheeses.
