Description
The Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Riserva Bosan di Cesari comes from vineyards located in the most suitable area of Valpolicella, in the province of Verona, in Veneto.
It is mainly produced with Corvina grapes and partly with Rondinella grapes, harvested and selected by hand in the second ten days of September. Fermentation, with maceration of about 30 days, takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. After the malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for 36 months in large Slavonian oak barrels and in French oak barrels, followed by an aging of 15 months in bottle, before being marketed.
The Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Riserva Bosan di Cesari is characterized by a very dark ruby red color, with garnet reflections. The nose opens with intense fruity aromas of marasca and plum in jam, enriched with elegant hints of dark chocolate, black truffle and licorice. On the palate it is full, soft and round with a pleasantly long and persistent finish.
Ideal in combination with game, grilled red and white meats, this Amarone is also an excellent wine to accompany moments of conversations between meals.
