Description
This Amarone della Valpolicella belongs to the Torre del Falasco selection of the Cantina Valpantena, the top line of one of the major wineries in the homonymous area.
It is obtained from a careful selection of Corvina Veronese, Corvinone and Rondinella grapes, which are left to dry naturally on the vine. After the fermentation which takes place traditionally in red, the wine ages for at least 2 years in oak barriques.
Ruby red in color tending to garnet, it has an elegant aroma of ripe plum and cocoa. In the mouth it proves robust, velvety and harmonious.
Perfect in the company of game and noble poultry, it goes very well with aged cheeses, in particular with pecorino.
This line owes its name to the brigand Falesco, who used to take refuge in a small tower located in the hamlet of Stallavena.
