Description
The Amarone of the Télos di Sant'Antonio line comes from vineyards located in Monti Garbi, in the Veronese municipality of Mezzane di Sotto. The production of this wine does not require the addition of sulphites.
It is mainly obtained with Corvina grapes, and with Rondinella, Croatina and Oseleta grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand, in the second week of September. After a soft pressing in the total absence of oxygen, the fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages for 16 months in French oak barrels, before being bottled.
It has a purple ruby red color. The nose opens with an elegant floral bouquet, with hints of cherry, black currant and blueberry, enriched with spicy notes of pepper, cloves and vanilla. On the palate it is warm and dry, with good balance and consistency, pleasantly soft and persistent.
Perfect to accompany pasta dishes with elaborate sauces, grilled red meats and roasts, this red wine is ideal in combination with lamb, game and seasoned cheeses.
