Description

Tenuta Delo's Amarone della Valpolicella Riserva comes from the historic Valpolicella region, from a blend of traditional grapes composed of Corvina Veronese, Rondinella and Oseleta grapes.

The harvest takes place exclusively by hand in the month of September. After a period of drying in dry and ventilated conditions, the grapes are subjected to a soft pressing. The must thus obtained ferments at a controlled temperature with maceration for 30 days. The wine ages for a total of 4 years, of which 24 months are spent in medium toasted Allier oak barriques which gives the wine its elegant notes and its unparalleled structure.

At sight it has a deep ruby red color with seductive garnet reflections. Sensations of coffee emerge on the nose, enriched by pleasant notes of cherry and blackberry. On the palate it is a full-bodied wine, soft and balanced, with a sip of interminable persistence.

An ideal companion for game-based dishes, it is perfect to pair with braised meats and grilled red meats.
