Description
Tenute Fiorebelli's Amarone Coste Bianche was born in vineyards located on the hills around Negrar, in the province of Verona.
The wine is made from 100% Croatina grapes, harvested by hand at the end of September. The grapes are placed in a fruit cellar, where they are left to dry at a controlled temperature. The dried grapes are vinified separately. They are destemmed, squeezed and placed in steel tanks with the addition of selected yeasts. Fermentation lasts about 30 days at a controlled temperature. Frequent pumping over and délestage are carried out, then malolactic fermentation is induced. The wine then ages for 20 months in French and American barriques.
Intense ruby red in colour, the nose has clear aromas of ripe cherries, raisins, chocolate and coffee. The sip is soft and full-bodied, with a long and spicy finish.
It goes very well with red meats and game with important cooking.
