Description

The Amarone della Valpolicella Cavolo originates from the homonymous vineyard located in Grezzana, in the province of Verona.

It comes from a selection of Corvina Veronese, Corvinone and Rondinella grapes, left to dry in the fruit cellar in boxes for 120 days. During the vinification in contact with the skins there is the maximum extraction of color and noble components. Long maturation for 2 years in barrique and for another 2 years in Slavonian oak barrels.

The color is deep garnet red. It is characterized by strong aromas of red fruit jam, including black cherry and cherry, accompanied by elegant notes of vanilla, withering and spices. On the palate it is structured and complex, with a velvety consistency.

Recommended as an accompaniment to red and roasted meats, but also with a platter of aged cheeses.
