Description
Amarone della Valpolicella Case Vecie di Brigaldara was born in vineyards located in the town of San Floriano, in the extraordinary Marano Valley, one of the four valleys that make up the magical terroir of Valpolicella.
It is produced with Corvinone, Corvina, Rondinella and other complementary grape varieties, harvested and selected only by hand during the second half of October. After the traditional drying, the grapes ferment in red in contact with the skins, with daily pumping over. Subsequently the wine ages for 2 years in barrique and for further 12 months in oak barrels.
It is characterized by a garnet red color. The nose opens with elegant aromas of cherries and black cherries, enriched with pleasant spicy notes of tobacco and cocoa. On the palate it is velvety and pleasantly complex, with a large structure.
Perfect to accompany roasts and game, it is ideal in combination with stewed meats and aged cheeses.
