Description
The Amarone della Valpolicella di Astoria comes from vineyards located in the historic area of Valpolicella.
It comes from a blend of Corvina Veronese, Corvinone and Rondinella grapes, which are harvested entirely by hand. Followed by drying in special fruit rooms and traditional red vinification with maceration of 20-25 days on the skins. This wine ages for 2 years in oak barrels and in the bottle for several months before being placed on the market.
It shines in the glass with a deep and intense ruby red color, with a garnet hue. The nose offers a complex bouquet, in which spicy notes of leather and cinnamon stand out, accompanied by hints of black currant and cranberry. In the mouth it is full-bodied, medium tannic.
Excellent in combination with stewed meats, it is perfect to accompany roasts and game.
