Description
Reinterpretation of Torre del Falasco Amarone , in memory of the ancient Roman custom of storing wine in an amphora for aging in which the favorite wine of Emperor Augustus was aged.
It is obtained from the classic blend of Amarone, consisting of Corvina Veronese, Corvinone and Rondinella grapes. After harvesting, the bunches are left to dry for 4 months, after which they ferment in contact with the skins at a controlled temperature and conclude the vinification in oak barrels enriching themselves with unique sensory nuances.
Intense ruby red wine with garnet reflections, it expresses elegant aromas of ripe plum on the nose, enriched by hints of dark chocolate. In the mouth it is harmonious and velvety, with remarkable balance.
Perfect with roasts and game dishes, it is ideal with aged cheeses.
