Description
Amarone della Valpolicella Classico di Bolla is born in vineyards grown exclusively with the traditional Veronese pergola system, located in the high valleys of Marano and Negrar.
It is mainly produced with Corvina grapes and with Rondinella grapes. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 18-22 ° C for 25 days, followed by another 5 days of post-fermentation maceration. Subsequently the wine is aged in barrique for 48 months and for a further 9 months in the bottle.
This Amarone is characterized by a deep garnet color. The nose opens with aromas of wild cherries and pear, enriched by pleasant spicy hints of vanilla and licorice. On the palate it is warm, with clear aromas of cocoa and spices.
Perfect to accompany grilled red meats and game, it is ideal in combination with aged cheeses and as a meditation wine.
