Description
Secondo Marco's Amarone Classico della Valpolicella is produced by Marco Speri's family business, which manages 15 hectares of property in Fumane.
The Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella grapes are first dried in the fruit cellar, then vinified in thermo-controlled steel tanks, with a 45-day maceration on the skins. The refinement lasts 3 years and 6 months and is kept in oak barrels, followed by 12 months in the bottle.
Ruby red in color with garnet hints, the nose reveals aromas of red fruit jam, spices and vanilla. The taste is balanced, elegant, with a long persistence.
It goes very well with stewed wild boar, game in general and aged cheeses.
