Description

The Monte Ca 'Bianca Amarone Classico from the Begali winery comes to life in the beating heart of the Valpolicella Classica, in Veneto. More precisely, the winery is located in the municipality of San Pietro in Cariano, in the province of Verona.

The homonymous vineyard, Monte Ca 'Bianca, contributes to the formation of the blend, divided into 40% Corvina, 35% Corvinone, 20% Rondinella and 5% Oseleta. Towards September the grapes are carefully selected, harvested and left to dry in the fruit rooms at controlled temperatures, until January / February. Only then are they pressed and sent for vinification, which involves an aging of about 4 years in barriques and 20 HL wooden barrels. A rest in the bottle for at least 8 months completes the journey of this Amarone.

It is presented in the glass in all its depth, marked both in color and consistency. The nose is complex and layered in a multitude of fruity, floral and toasted hints: notes of red fruit and cherry jam, red flowers, spices of various kinds and a creamy trail of chocolate. In the mouth it is full, with a robust and enveloping body, soft but well integrated with the freshness and subtle saline vein. It closes in an echo of red fruit in jam and velvety tannic perception.

Perfect to accompany a high seasoned Bagoss.
