Description

Giuseppe Quintarelli's Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Riserva is born in vineyards located in the municipality of Negrar, in the magical terroir of Valpolicella.

It is produced with a skilful blend of Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella grapes, carefully harvested by hand. After the harvest, the grapes are dried naturally, with the aim of reducing the water content and giving the wine sugars. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature for approximately 45 days. Subsequently the wine ages in Slavonian oak barrels for 7 years.

It is characterized by a deep pomegranate red color. The nose opens with an intense and elegant bouquet of almonds, enriched by pleasant aromas of cherry. On the palate it is powerful and complex, with a pleasantly spicy aftertaste.

Perfect to accompany roasts and grilled red meats, it is ideal in combination with game and mature cheeses.
