Description
The Amarone Classico della Valpolicella di Brigaldara is born in vineyards located in the town of San Floriano, in the extraordinary Marano Valley, one of the four valleys that make up the magical terroir of Valpolicella.
It is produced 50% with Corvinone grapes, 20% with Corvina grapes, 20% with Rondinella grapes and 10% with grapes of other complementary vines. The harvest takes place only by hand during the second half of October. After the traditional drying, the grapes ferment in red in contact with the skins, with daily pumping over. Subsequently the wine ages for 1 year in barrique and for further 2 years in oak barrels.
It is characterized by a garnet red color. The nose opens with aromas of black cherry and cherry, enriched with pleasant shades of vanilla and delicate spicy notes. On the palate it is elegant and velvety, pleasantly complex and with a great structure.
Perfect to accompany roasts and stewed meats, it is ideal in combination with game and mature cheeses.
