Amaro Riserva Don Salvatore Averna

Don Salvatore is the bitter taste of the Averna house which is inspired by its founder, a man with a charismatic, charming and ironic personality, capable of totally embracing the "full taste of life". An exclusive bitter, made in honor of the 150 years of the secret recipe of the Averna bitter, given to Salvatore by the prior of the Abbey of Santo Spirito di Caltanissetta Frà Girolamo in 1868 and remained unchanged to the present day.

Light mahogany color tending to brown, it combines the aromas of Mediterranean citrus fruits and spices with hints of dried fruit and toasted given by the passage of 18 months in small oak barrels. On the palate it is energetic, warm and soft, with a very long persistence.

Ideal to be served in a womb glass with two ice cubes, it is perfect as a bitter after a meal as well as for meditation.
