Description
The Alto Adige Valle Isarco Praepositus Veltliner of the Novacella Abbey was born in the vineyards located in the heart of Alto Adige DOC.
It is produced exclusively with Grüner Veltliner grapes, harvested around the middle of October. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 20 ° C, then the must ages in the same containers for 6 months and in the bottle for a further 3 months.
It is characterized by a straw yellow color tending to greenish. The nose reveals citrus and fruity, enriched with pleasant spicy notes. On the palate it is rich, full-bodied and elegant, with grapefruit and melon aromas.
Perfect to accompany aperitifs and appetizers, it is ideal in combination with fish dishes.
