Description

It looks like one of the flagships of the South Tyrolean Falkenstein company, set in the beautiful Val Venosta. Here, viticulture has its roots in mineral soils and rests on dry stone walls that chisel the slopes.

The Riesling grapes are harvested from vineyards spread over 6 hectares of surface. The alcoholic fermentation of the must takes place in acacia wood barrels, as well as the aging, which lasts 10 months. A final period of 12 months in the bottle completes the maturation.

Delicately straw yellow, it shows a perfume that combines the varietal expression of the vine with the territorial one, being composed of fruity notes reminiscent of apricot and peach but also of more mineral and citrus traces. In the mouth it is elegant, sapid and very fresh. The tension of the sip persists in an excellent balance.

Ideal companion for a baked pork loin.
