Description
This Sauvignon was born in the vineyards of Caldaro di Kellerei-Kaltern, immersed in the splendid and prestigious setting of South Tyrol.
Obtained exclusively from Sauvignon grapes, harvested in the first week of September, the must of this wine is left to ferment at controlled temperatures. This process is followed by the maturation phase in steel, carried out on the fine lees for five months. The wine is finally filtered and then bottled.
Kaltern Sauvignon is characterized by a straw yellow color. The nose is striking with its very fresh notes of elderberry and gooseberry, which blend well with the classic sensations of tropical fruit. In the mouth a remarkable mineral vein stands out, attenuated by an exhilarating fruity that accompanies towards a finish of fine persistence.
Perfect with dishes based on grilled vegetables or goat cheeses, it proves to be an excellent shoulder also for not too elaborate maritime dishes.
